CURRENT & UPCOMING DATES:
•The CONTEXTUAL-CONCEPTUAL THERAPY TRAINING in SPAIN
April 28th - May 2nd, 2009
Barcelona, Spain
3 Days & 4 Nights of Cutting-edge Suicide Education Training in One of Europe's Most Sought After Destinations for Historic Beauty, Arts, Culture, & Fun. In this relaxing and inspiring learning environment, enjoy the company of and conversations with an intimate gathering of like-minded international colleagues and fellow clinicians dedicated to suicide prevention.
With Informative Classes & Experiential Workshops, Cultural Excursions, Picasso Museum Tour, lush Spa Thermal Baths, Artisan Cheese and Wine Tasting, Group Dinners (first and last night), Centrally Located Accommodations, Fun and Engaging People, & More!
Join the Contextual-Conceptual Therapy (CCT) Team, and a small group of fellow clinicians, in this intimate setting in old Barcelona to study, experience, and understand this innovative, clinically-proven, approach to helping the suicidal patient understand the phenomenon of suicide and their own internal process to offer them a new pathway out of suicide.
We will be showing how conceptualizing the suicidal patient's unique perspective and metaphoric language, allows the clinician to communicate with them inside of the patient's own experience to bridge that gap of resistance and therefore increase the patient's opportunity to effect positive self-growth and transformation.
